Madcap is located directly downtown, so it's always a convenient stop for coffee. I stopped by to try the coffee flight and it was great. It has a great ambiance and a go-to spot to grab coffee while exploring downtown.

Best coffee imaginable. Had been to Madcap in Grand Rapids but never Detroit. Uhhh came back twice in a day! Amazing.

Definitely my favorite coffee in Detroit! This time, I ordered their seasonal banana bread latte half-sweet. It wasn't super banana-ey either -- not too sweet, and had some chai-like spices in it too. It was delicious, cozy, and exactly what I wanted. They had a steady line the whole time we were in there, but was quick.

Madcap is by far, my favorite coffee shop in west Michigan. The spaces are always comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is ALWAYS fresh and amazing. Bonus - when you find the Long Road x Madcap canned espresso martinis

A coffee shop favorite in downtown Detroit. The seasonal drink I got was the banana stand that came with a biscoff cookie. The shop is clean and has indoor and outdoor seating and standing space. They didn't have food options when I was there. Parking can be a little tough, but there's a paid parking garage by the library.

Suuuuper cool coffee shop. I got Coffee Miel that was super delicious. I usually don't get the "fufu" drinks but I was really feeling like latte. So glad I did. Coffee was delicious. This place also has a very nice space inside and outside to chill and have you coffee. One of my favorite coffee places in Detroit, no doubt.

Big fan of minimalist black and white design with plants. Usually that's the ticket for me. Madcap is real nice inside. They have 3 rows of stand up table space that have hooks for you to hang your bag as you sip and chat it up your coffee pals. Really nice touch to have that space. They have a cool bar setup that have large windows to let in lots of natural light. I had the smorelette one day and a coffee flight the next day. Smorelette was ok, tasted a little watered down and just ok. 3/5. The coffee flight was really good. I got coffee, a shot of espresso, and espresso with coffee. Great way to taste their ability to make coffee. Located next to a cool alley.

Super cute and modern coffee shop! Drinks were expensive for the size, but the quality of the drink I ordered was superb. I ordered a special drink called the "Oh Honey," and it was amazing! It had a melon cold foam on the top, which truly sent it to the next level. It's definitely a cool place to checkout if you're in town!

Great little coffee spot. The core memory was delish. First the apple notes hit. Then the cinnamon. Highly recommend!!!
